The self-guided cycling holiday in Denmark’s Zealand region was incredible. The flat, scenic routes were well-marked, taking me through charming coastal towns, lush countryside, and historic castles like Kronborg. The freedom to explore at my own pace was wonderful—I could linger in Copenhagen’s vibrant streets or enjoy a leisurely lunch at a cozy seaside café. The detailed itinerary and seamless logistics made the trip stress-free. This was the perfect blend of independence and Danish hospitality!

The cycling in Denmark was terrific and the routes were fine. The hotel in Helsingør was sub-par — tiny rooms, limited breakfast, reservations mixed up. Pre-trip communication was also sub-par — we had no idea when our rental bikes would arrive or how the luggage transfer would take place. Multiple attempts at communicating — by email and by WhatsApp, went unanswered. At the end of the trip, we had no instructions as to what to do with the rental bikes ow how they would be picked up. Bottom line: Communication and responsiveness was poor.

it was missing a phone holder on the bike.
