Today's ride takes you from Helsingør or its surroundings to the Helsinge/Hillerød area. Before setting off, take some time to explore more of Helsingør's old port city, soaking in its maritime heritage and historical ambience. 

As you pedal onwards, the coastal resorts of Hornbæk and Gilleleje will captivate you with their charm. These idyllic towns are perfect spots to pause on your journey and savour the scenic beauty of Denmark's coastline. 

Your day will conclude in Holløselund, home to LaMa Glas, a unique glassblowing studio. Here, you can relax after your ride and enjoy the quiet setting of this small village.

Today's ride promises a scenic exploration through Denmark's charming countryside and its delightful coastal towns. 

Your path leads you through the idyllic villages of Tisvilde and Liseleje. These quaint locales offer a glimpse into the serene Danish lifestyle, complemented by the beauty of numerous nearby beaches. Take time to soak in the tranquil atmosphere and perhaps enjoy a moment of relaxation by the sea. 

Upon reaching Højby, you'll find yourself captivated by this picturesque small town, situated on the opposite side of the Isefjord. The ferry ride to Rørvig is a scenic transition, offering beautiful views of the fjord.

Today's 45 km ride takes you from Højby to Holbæk, a journey rich in coastal beauty on the Odsherred peninsula. As you cycle, you'll be constantly accompanied by the sea, dunes, and the refreshing salty sea air. The peninsula is home to some of Denmark's most beautiful sandy beaches, offering perfect spots for brief stops to admire the scenery.

As the route progresses, it hugs the bay of Roskilde, leading you towards the city's famous historical landmark. The Cathedral of Roskilde, visible from a distance, is an awe-inspiring sight. Its historical and architectural significance earned it a place as a UNESCO World Heritage site since 1995.

On this final leg of your cycling journey, covering 40 km, you return to where it all began — the dynamic and captivating Danish capital, Copenhagen. This path, almost entirely free of traffic, offers a smooth and enjoyable ride right into the heart of Copenhagen.
